Newborn Photography Sessions

It has been raining newborn boys in my little portable studio and I truly have been enjoying the rain! These little guys are such a joy to photograph. They are a lot of hard work but definitely worth it.

There were some lessons learned during these sessions both by me and by parents. Or I should say there are things you need to know  before doing a newborn session.

First of all you can not say : " I need a newborn mini session". There is no such thing, mini sessions run about 20-30 minutes and it might take just that long to get your little one to fall asleep.


Second: Plan on extra time, a lot of waiting and feeding the baby. If you are patient and not in a hurry you won't be sorry. As soon as your little one is tired and sleepy that is where magic begins.
